8-Day Kerala Culture-to-Coast Tour: Kathakali, Backwaters and Beaches

Table of Contents

Kerala’s character changes dramatically between Kochi and the southern coast. This eight-day journey connects historic streets, Munnar tea country, a Thekkady nature walk, an Alleppey houseboat and the beaches of Varkala and Kovalam. Its strongest distinction is the sequence of confirmed experiences: a Kathakali performance, forest-and-spice walk, Periyar Lake boat safari and private houseboat stay before two coastal days.

This article focuses on the specific inclusions in Varanasi Excursion’s current 8 Days India Best Tour Kerala. For broader route advice, also see our general eight-day Kerala planning guide.
